The Samusky is a mixed breed dog, a cross between the Samoyed and Siberian Husky dog breeds. Highly intelligent, loyal and good-natured, these puppies inherit some of the best qualities of their parents. It is likely that breeders began intentionally mixing the Siberian Husky and Samoyed in the late 1990s in North America, in order to maintain the loyalty and endurance of the Siberian Husky and the sociable attitude of the Samoyed. The two dogs have many similarities and the combination of the two breeds offers Samusky owners the best of both worlds. Breeders continued to create Samusky puppies as the demand for this mixed breed increased. If you decide the Samusky is the breed for you, consider adopting.
