INTRODUCTION

The Labsky is a mongrel dog, a cross between the Labrador Retriever and Siberian Husky dog breeds. Active, intelligent and loyal, these puppies inherit some of the best qualities of their two parents, the Labsky also goes by the name of Huskador. Despite their high-end image, you can find these mixed breed dogs in shelters and rescues, so remember to always adopt. These lovable canines make very loyal and devoted family pets, and they’re usually very easy to train and quickly learn new commands. But a word of warning: Labradors are dogs that like to be active, so be prepared for lots of long walks. Labradors, who tend to be more intelligent than other dogs, also benefit from interactive dog toys.

HISTORY

The Labsky arose from a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Siberian Husky. This mixed breed dates back to the 1990s, although its country of origin has not been established.the history of the Labsky’s parent breeds goes back a long way. The Siberian Husky has been around for over 3,000 years and originated in the cold climates of Alaska and Canada.The Labrador Retriever has a history as a hunting dog and was first developed in Newfoundland in the 19th century. Today, the Labrador Retriever has been recognised as one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States and often ranks as the most popular dog breed of all, according to the American Kennel Club.Although the Labsky looks like a high-end, luxury designer dog, many of them end up in shelters, so consider adoption if you decide this is the breed for you.
